Lina raised an interesting question while visiting one of my blogs today. Basically the question is whether automatic blog posting can affect your standing with Google.

Great question.

So I did a bit of checking at one of my own blogs where I am using an autoposting plugin:  http://ConversionChick.com

The main keyphrase there is “automated split testing” as you will see when you visit the site.

But what does Google think of my site?

When you do a search in Google for “automated split testing” without the quotes, you’ll see my site on page one of Google in position 4 as this screenshot shows…

If you add the quotes around that phrase, you’ll see I’m in positions 5 and 6, which incidentally is one position ABOVE the product I’m promoting there.

CONCLUSION:
Google has NOT penalized me for using automated blog posting software.

But how do you know I’ve used autoblogging software?
