Lina raised an interesting question while visiting one of my blogs today. Basically the question is whether automatic blog posting can affect your standing with Google.

You can see Lina’s comment here: http://eprofitnews.org/automatic-blog-wordpress-plugin#comments

Great question.

So I did a bit of checking at one of my own blogs where I am using an autoposting plugin:  http://ConversionChick.com

The main keyphrase there is “automated split testing” as you will see when you visit the site.

But what does Google think of my site?

When you do a search in Google for “automated split testing” without the quotes, you’ll see my site on page one of Google in position 4 as this screenshot shows…

If you add the quotes around that phrase, you’ll see I’m in positions 5 and 6, which incidentally is one position ABOVE the product I’m promoting there.

CONCLUSION:
Google has NOT penalized me for using automated blog posting software.

But how do you know I’ve used autoblogging software?

Easy.

Visit http://ConversionChick.com and use the Search box to search for “articlesbase” because the software publishes articles from ArticlesBase.com and their URL is included in the footer of every article.
